Live Tracking

Live Vehicle Tracking Software for UK Fleets

Know exactly where every vehicle in your fleet is, right now. FleetGS connects to your existing GPS hardware — RAM Tracking, Teltonika, or GeoTab — so you get a live map without changing a single piece of equipment. No hardware investment required for phone-based fleets either.

One map. Every vehicle. Real time.

Fleet tracking software should give you a clear picture of your operation — not add complexity. FleetGS shows every vehicle's live position on a single map, with instant access to route history, geofence alerts, and driver identification. Whether you run five vans or two hundred, the view is the same: everything in one place.

For most UK fleets, that means connecting your existing RAM Tracking or Teltonika hardware directly to FleetGS. Your telematics data flows in automatically — live positions, speed data, ignition events, and journey history. If you're not running hardware trackers yet, the FleetGS driver app turns any Android or iOS phone into a live tracker.

  • Real-time GPS map with continuous position updates
  • Seamless integration with RAM Tracking hardware — no changes needed
  • Teltonika and GeoTab devices connected automatically

  • Geofencing: instant alerts when vehicles enter or leave sites
  • Full day-by-day route replay for any vehicle, any date
  • Speed alerts and ignition event notifications
  • 90 days of route history always accessible

Why fleet managers choose FleetGS for tracking

No hardware rip-and-replace

If you already use RAM Tracking or Teltonika, you don't need to replace anything. FleetGS integrates with your existing hardware on day one.

Tracking is just the start

Live positions feed into driver timesheets, job management, compliance records, and incident logging — not just a map. Everything is connected.

Flat-rate pricing

Unlike many tracking providers who charge per vehicle per month, FleetGS charges a flat monthly fee for your whole fleet. Add vehicles without your bill growing.

How UK fleets use live tracking

Construction sites

Know which vehicles are on site, which are in transit, and which have left the yard before shift start. Geofence your sites to log arrival and departure times automatically.

Job dispatch

Assign the nearest available driver to an emergency job. Live tracking shows you who is closest and already on the road — no phone calls needed.

Insurance and disputes

Route history is timestamped and tamper-proof. If a customer disputes a delivery time or an insurer asks about an incident, your data is ready to export.

Unauthorised use

Set working hours and get notified if any vehicle moves outside them. Geofences around the depot alert you to any movement before or after shift.

DVSA investigations

DVSA enforcement officers can ask for driving records going back weeks. FleetGS retains 90 days of complete journey data, exportable immediately.

Multi-depot operations

View all vehicles across multiple sites on a single map. Filter by depot, by driver, or by job status — your whole operation visible in one screen.

Live tracking — frequently asked questions

Does FleetGS live tracking work with my existing GPS hardware?

Yes. FleetGS integrates directly with RAM Tracking and Teltonika hardware. If you already have trackers installed in your vehicles, your live positions, route history, and geofence data flow straight into FleetGS — no hardware changes, no engineer visits, no reinstallation.

How frequently does the live map update?

The map updates continuously as position data arrives from your hardware. For RAM Tracking and Teltonika integrations, this is typically every 30–60 seconds depending on your hardware configuration. Phone-based tracking updates when the driver's app is active.

Can I set geofence alerts for specific sites or locations?

Yes. You can draw geofence zones around any location — customer sites, depots, restricted areas, or job sites. FleetGS sends an alert when any vehicle enters or exits a zone, with a timestamp and the driver's name. Useful for monitoring when drivers arrive at jobs or leave the depot.

How far back can I view route history?

FleetGS stores a complete day-by-day route replay for every vehicle. You can step through any vehicle's full journey for any date — useful for insurance claims, customer disputes, or DVSA investigations. History is retained for 90 days by default.

Does phone-based tracking work if a driver loses signal?

The FleetGS driver app caches position data locally when connectivity drops and syncs it once the signal returns. Gaps caused by tunnels or rural areas are filled in retrospectively, so your route history remains complete.
